Stuart McNair received his BA with Honors from the University of Alabama, where he was a member of multiple musical ensembles, including the Million Dollar Band. While at Alabama, Stuart traveled to Oxford University in England to complete a study aboard program in Shakespeare & Renaissance Studies. Since graduation, Stuart has found success as both a teacher and performer.
Stuart has taught guitar and piano in New Orleans and Birmingham for more than 10 years and has traveled throughout the US and Europe performing. He is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist whose music has found a place on the Americana charts and college/indie radio. His festival experience includes Scotland’s Fringe Fest and Festival of Spirituality and Peace, as well as Grassroots festivals around the American South.
Stuart just recently published flowerspill: poems and sketches, a book written while on tour, and also released his new studio album Dance All Day.
