After 10 years of competitions, we are excited to offer TWO different competition teams to provide students
with options and opportunities that suit their needs: The Studio Company & The Studio Elite.
We're also adding new competitions & opportunities for our students, including:

Alabama Thespians Festival
Southeastern Theatre Conference

Audition Requirements
The Studio Company Auditions
All students interested in competing with only The Studio Company should select the area(s) in which they plan to compete
and submit the following audition material only for that discipline:

- Acting: One 60-90 second monologue cut that best showcases your acting skills.
- Vocal: One 32 bar Musical Theatre song cut that best showcases your vocal skills.
- Combo (Acting & Vocal): Any combination of acting/singing that best showcases your abilities, not to exceed 2 minutes.
- Technical: Tech students should compile a shared folder (Dropbox, Google Drive, etc) that showcases their previous work.
Example: Student A wants to just sing at competitions, but Student B wants to Act & Sing. Student A submits the "Vocal" requirement, but Student B submits the "Combo" requirement.
The Studio Elite Auditions
All students interested in auditioning for The Studio Elite should ignore the audition requirements above and instead submit the audition material below:

Grades 3-8
Grades 9-12
All students are also asked to answer the following questions:
- One 16-32 bar Musical Theatre song cut
- One 30-60 second monologue cut (contemporary comedic or dramatic - no classical monologues, please)
- Movement combo #1 - found here.
Grades 9-12
- Two 32 bar Musical Theatre song cuts (contrasting selections preferred)
- One 60 second monologue cut (contemporary comedic or dramatic - no classical monologues, please)
- Movement combo #2 - found here.
All students are also asked to answer the following questions:
- New Students: "What do you hope to learn from competing?"
- Returning Students: "What is your biggest accomplishment or success story from past competitions?"
Auditions will be accepted by video submission ONLY.
