Acting The Song
Singing the right notes is only half of the battle... creating a believable character is the other half! Join us in an immersive workshop that will develop your ability to convey a character's emotions and intentions throughout a song. Learn how to analyze lyrics and music to understand your character's motivations and emotions while exploring physicality, vocal technique, and authentic expression. Students should come with a song of their choosing to work on. Students will also have the opportunity to workshop their character within the song with Brandon & Mollie in front of the group, time allowing.

Improvisation for Teens
Improvisation is critical for actors, but studies show that the benefits go beyond the stage and improv has been proven to improve self-esteem, communication, leadership and personal development. Lead by Actors Equity Association & SAG-AFTRA member Robin Ann Page, students who take Improvisation for Teens develop the skills to be fearless, spontaneous, vulnerable, and authentic in every performance on and off the stage. At its root, improvisation is non-scripted storytelling. Being a “funny person" is not required! Teens will immediately feel welcome and respected as Robin teaches that improv is all about listening and truthfully reacting.
